This site collects as little as it can. There is no newsletter, no account system and no comment section.

What gets collected
Standard web server records, and nothing else that we control.
Like every website, the server that hosts The Hunting Trail keeps access logs. These records can include your IP address, the browser and device you used, the page you asked for, and the time of the request. They exist so the site can be kept online and secure.
Cookies
The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
WordPress may set a cookie if you log in as an editor of this site. If you are reading it as a visitor, that does not apply to you. Your browser settings can block cookies entirely and the site will still work.
If you write to us, we keep your message.
We use the email address you write from to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not add it to a list, we do not sell it and we do not pass it to anyone. If you would like your message deleted, ask and it will be.
Other sites
We link out to state wildlife agencies and to other publishers. Once you follow a link you are on their site and their policy applies, not ours. We have no control over what they collect.
